A visual representation of POIs (Points of Interest), sites, locations and areas associated with my current research themes:  

• The study of historical earthquakes, particularly in the Levant. The project includes collection and inspection of structural damage, archaeological evidence of past seismic activity, paleoseismological data, and historical insight of events occurred in the pre-instrumental era (before the invention of the first seismograph)
• The reconstruction of past climate of the Negev during late antiquity and early medieval. This project contains the examination of geomorphological, geological, archaeological, natural proxies, and historical data proxying past climatic properties
• The study of Ottoman Jerusalem using old cartographic material (e.g., maps, drawings, photographs, air photos), GIScience and computer vision. It includes reconstruction of the cityscape as well as portraying the landscape and its prominent features
